Homemade Mango Sorbet (Easy & Refreshing!)
This creamy, fruity sorbet requires just 3 ingredients and no ice cream maker! It’s the perfect way to enjoy ripe, juicy mangoes.
Ingredients:
- 3 cups ripe mango (about 3–4 mangoes, peeled & diced)
- ¼ cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp lemon or lime juice (for brightness)
- (Optional: 2–3 tbsp water or coconut milk for creamier texture)
Instructions:
- Blend – Puree mango, sugar, and lemon juice until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
- Freeze – Pour into a shallow dish or loaf pan. Freeze for 1 hour, then stir with a fork to break up ice crystals.
- Repeat – Freeze for 3–4 hours total, stirring every hour for a smoother texture.
- Serve – Scoop and enjoy! For extra creaminess, blend the semi-frozen mix once before final freeze.
Tips:
- Use very ripe mangoes for the best natural sweetness.
- For a boozy twist, add 1 tbsp rum or vodka (lowers freezing point for softer sorbet).
- Garnish with mint, chili salt, or coconut flakes.
Enjoy your tropical, dairy-free treat! 🥭🍧
